Gone Fishing / Out for a Swim uses the language of American home construction to stage a scene of pursuit and capture, suspending a coffin-shaped domestic structure as if mid-attack. The work frames an unequal relationship between aggressor and victim, one side exerting control while the other remains exposed, leaving the roles deliberately open so the dynamic can stand in for intimate, familial, institutional, or systemic forms of power.
